These terms apply when you use Tempus, a calendar app made by Born Opus. By using Tempus, you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies too, and these terms add to it.
Using Tempus
- Tempus is for your own use, on Apple devices you own or control.
- Your calendar, ideas and settings are yours. Tempus changes them only when you ask it to.
- Don't use Tempus to break the law or to harm anyone, and don't try to take the app apart or get around how it works.
Your calendar
Tempus works with the calendars on your iPhone and the accounts they come from. Changes you make in Tempus are saved to those calendars, and the services behind them, such as iCloud, Google or Outlook, have their own terms. Keep your own backups of anything important.
Tempus AI
- Tempus AI uses Claude, from Anthropic, with your own API key. Anthropic's terms cover your use of it, and Anthropic bills you directly. The costs Tempus shows are estimates.
- Tempus AI can get things wrong. It only suggests changes, so check them before you confirm, and don't rely on it where a mistake would matter.
- Keeping your key safe, and what it's used for, is up to you.
Sign in with Apple and iCloud
Signing in and iCloud Sync are optional and use your Apple Account, which Apple's terms cover.
No guarantees
Tempus is provided as it is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will always work, be free of mistakes, or that every alert will arrive on time. Don't rely on Tempus alone for anything where timing is critical, such as medication.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Born Opus isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or missed events, that come from using Tempus. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be taken away.
Changes
We may update Tempus and these terms. If the terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app, and using Tempus after that means you accept them. You can stop using Tempus at any time by deleting it.
